Continuing his 2017 acoustic mini-tour with another nearly two-hour set of Phish classics and others, Trey Anastasio played to a sold-out audience of 1,200 people at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on Friday night.
Highlights certainly included the encore’s Bowie cover as well as the Oysterhead cover. But perhaps what most fans will remember from this show is Anastasio’s emotional telling of his 2006 DUI arrest in Whitehall, NY and the 14 month journey that followed. “Backwards Down The Number Line” may never sound the same.
